Commissioned artworks
Can I commission a similar artwork to one that has already been sold?
Yes. I do not create exact copies, as each of my abstract artworks remains a unique hand-painted piece. However, if a sold work particularly appeals to you, I can develop a new commissioned artwork in a similar color scheme, mood, and visual language.
A great example is FLORALS #13: Inspired by this, the commissioned artworks FLORALS #15 and FLORALS #17 were created. All three works are related yet each possesses its own unique composition, depth, and effect.
How does a custom commissioned artwork get made?
After your non-binding inquiry, we will jointly discuss the size, format, color scheme, desired mood, finish, and framing. Based on this, I will develop an individual abstract artwork within my artistic style.
During the creation process, you will receive insights into the progress and can provide feedback on important details. After your final approval, the artwork will be signed on the back, receive a certificate of authenticity, and be carefully packaged and shipped to you.
You can find the complete process on my page “Commissioned Artworks”.
What sizes and formats are possible for a commissioned artwork?
For a commissioned artwork, almost all sizes and formats are possible – whether square, portrait or landscape, as a compact single piece or a large-format canvas.
Since I have the canvases for commissioned artworks custom-made by hand in Germany, I can usually plan flexibly in five-centimeter increments. I would be happy to advise you on which format best suits your space and the desired effect.
Can I choose the colors, mood, finish, and frame myself?
Yes. We will discuss your preferred colors, desired mood, as well as the finish and framing. For guidance, I will gladly send you examples of previous artworks, different finishes, and possible floating frames.
Special framing requests can also be accommodated. CARE FOR YOUR SOUL, for example, received a golden floating frame, while a striking neon pink frame was deliberately chosen for HAPPY #20 – FLORALS INFUSED.
How is the price of a commissioned artwork calculated?
The price of a custom artwork depends on its size, format, time commitment, materials used, desired framing, and my current pricing structure.
Based on your wishes, I will create a personalized and transparent quote for you before starting. This way, you'll know in advance what the costs for your commissioned artwork will be.
How long does it take to create a commissioned artwork?
Production usually takes about two to four weeks. The exact duration depends on size, complexity, individual canvas production, and desired framing.
Should your artwork require more time, I will transparently inform you of this before commissioning.
Purchase, Framing, and Shipping
Is the shadow gap frame shown included in the price?
Yes. The floating frame shown in each image is part of the artwork and is already included in the stated price. Your artwork will be delivered pre-framed and ready to hang.
How does payment work, and is installment payment possible?
Yes, for available original artworks, you can use flexible installment payments via PayPal or Klarna, depending on their approval. Depending on the payment service provider, 3 to 24 installments are possible. You can easily see which options are available to you during checkout.
For an individual commissioned artwork, payment is divided into two steps: a 50 percent deposit confirms and reserves your order. The remaining 50 percent is due only after completion and your final approval, before the artwork makes its way to you.
Are your artworks signed and do I receive a certificate of authenticity?
Yes. Every original artwork is signed by me on the back and comes with a certificate of authenticity. This confirms the originality and unique character of the artwork.
Do you also ship to Switzerland, Great Britain, or outside of Europe?
Yes. I ship my original artworks within Europe and worldwide upon request. This includes, for example, deliveries to Switzerland, Great Britain or other countries outside Europe.
If your delivery country is not selectable in the online shop, please feel free to write to me before placing your order. I will individually check the available shipping options and costs for you.
Can I choose the colors, mood, finish, and frame myself?
Yes. We will discuss your desired colors, mood, finish, and framing together. For your guidance, I can send you examples of previously created artworks, different surfaces, and possible floater frames.
Special framing requests can also be accommodated. For example, CARE FOR YOUR SOUL received a golden floater frame, while a striking neon pink frame was deliberately chosen for HAPPY #20 – FLORALS INFUSED.
Can customs or import duties be incurred on international orders?
For deliveries to countries outside the European Union, additional import VAT, customs duties or processing fees may arise. This applies, for example, to deliveries to Switzerland and Great Britain.
The amount depends on the destination country and the value of the artwork and is determined by the responsible authorities or the shipping service provider. These additional costs are usually paid by the recipient upon import. I would be happy to give you a non-binding orientation in advance.
